Council Meetings

Council Meetings take place on the second Monday of every other month and start at 7.00pm.  Meetings are advertised on the Parish Council notice boards and on the Agendas and Minutes or Planning pages of this website.

The press and the public are invited to attend all meetings if the Parish Council and are able to view all public information, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Parish Council welcomes comments from members of the public. You can either contact your local Councillor or the Parish Clerk or attend Council Meetings and speak during public question time.

Annual Parish Meeting

Each year in April or May, the Annual Parish Meeting is held. The meeting gives both Councillors and members of the public the chance to discuss local issues. It provides eveyone with the opportunity to reflect on the previous year and formulate ideas for the new municipal year.

This meeting presents an ideal opportunity for members of the public to present their views to the Parish Council. Therefore, it is important that you turn up and let the Parish Council know your views.

Council Committees

The Parish Council has a Planning Committee that meets fortnightly during the year. The Planning Committee usually meets on a Monday providing there are planning applications to consider and these meetings usually commence at 9am.

As before, the press and public are invited to attend all Planning Committee Meetings and are able to view all public information, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
